I so much wanted to include the tenderness of withering beauty in this group of images. It is not only about the visual gist, but there is a tension between time passing and the idea of preservation in ice. A life well spent, served on a plate or as a watch. To me, there is also the memory of me preparing the ice block while my son ran around also picking flowers and putting them in a water container, a sunny day in the garden.
