The fantastic story of this image starts when I look down at a gravel road outside our house, and tell myself: even this dirt is actually also a very interesting texture. With a liberal amount of happy accident, the flower grew right out of the process of freezing and thawing. The texture of my original finding might be partially hidden, mixed with the bubbles in the ice and partial milking, but the end result is radiating and eye-opening.
