My wife offered me this mandarine peel, and I realised that it was an excellent extension of this series into a landscape of not-quite-your-ordinary-flower. I Norway, we often eat this fruit around Christmas, and this also extends the time range of these images into winter. There is something to ponder in the observation that when most flowers die, there is still beauty in our trash.
